NBC and Peacock have released a new promo for the finale of Saturday Night Live's 49th season, featuring Jake Gyllenhaal. In the video, a jovial Gyllenhaal attempts to sign Marcello Hernández’s SNL Finale Yearbook- with mixed results. The episode will air Saturday, May 18 on NBC (11:30 p.m. - 1 a.m. ET). Pop Musical VERONA'S ROMEO & JULIET, Starring Ledisi and Rebel Wilson, Coming in 2025

According to reports, the previously announced pop musical Verona's Romeo & Juliet will be distributed by Briarcliff Entertainment on Valentine's Day 2025. The new movie musical will be the first in a trilogy of pop musical movies that tell the real 1301 story that inspired William Shakespeare's classic play. The film is led by Clara Rugaard and Jamie Ward as Juliet and Romeo, respectively.

This was my first time attending a performance at The Farmington Players Barn Theatre. The local talent of these performers blew me away. My favorite performance of the night came from Hannah Haigh, who portrayed the wife of Nick Bottom, Bea Bottom.

Adam Pascal will return to From Stage to Screen in Long Island to direct Something Rotten! this summer. Performances are set to take place July 26-28. Pascal played the role of William Shakespeare in Something Rotten! on Broadway in 2016.
