Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman has been considered one of America's greatest plays. But Miller's first success on Broadway, ALL MY SONS has often been called the "better play". Like most great American Playwrights, Miller writes about family at the crossroads where truth trumps the lie often with tragic consequences. Director James Cady reunites Philip J. Shortell and Lorri Oliver (who performed the roles of Willie and Linda Loman in the Vortex Theatre's recent production of Death of a Salesman) as Joe and his wife Kate. The cast includes Adobe favorites and some new additions to the Adobe "family" - Matthew Van Wettering (Chris Keller), Ned Record and Heather Lovick-Tolley (Jim and Sue Bayliss), Jessica Barkl (Ann Deever), David Bommarito (George Deever), Jackson Murrieta (Bert), and Kamila Kasparian and Tim Riley (Lydia and Frank Lubey). "ALL MY SONS" opens at The ADOBE Theater on Friday, February 22nd and plays through March 17th - Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM, Sundays at 2 PM.Tickets are $15, seniors and students $13. Group sales and SelecTickets available. For reservations, call 898-9222 weekdays or order online at www.adobetheater.org. |
